Hello this is Stephanie Hakulin, “SJ”. my pronoun is she/her. I am Deaf Interpreter and resides in MA. How did I end up become a deaf interpreter? My friend and colleague, Ivelisse Velez encouraged me to take Road to Deaf interpreter program and I love it so far. I have been involved in several organizations such as National Association of the Deaf (NAD), Massachusetts Association of the Deaf (MSAD) and more. I do interpreting for the Deaf/DeafBlind Community and advocacy as well. I do varies of the specialization for mental health, medical, performances, theaters, k-12 and secondary education levels and community.
