Hi, my name is Sarah Comerford. My name sign is an SC on the shoulder. I use they/them pronouns. I’m originally from Hawaii, the island of Oahu, and now I live in Salem, Oregon. I’m RID certified, as well as a certified healthcare interpreter, and I’m close to finishing my Masters in Interpreting Studies degree at Western Oregon University. My research focus is ASL interpreters’ occupational culture, Americanism, and critical systems theory.
