Meagan Fretwell
Profile
Colorado – NIC, ED: K-12, A;EI
I have been interpreting in the Denver Metro area for 11 years. I have my National Interpreter Certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, as well as my Ed: k12 and the Colorado State Authorization as an Educational Interpreter (A:EI). I have experience interpreting in various educational settings, business, engineering & technology, medical, mental health, and various industry settings. In recent years, much of my work has been focused on sub-contracted on-site community interpreting as well as Video Remote interpreting.
As a professional interpreter I value integrity, flexibility, and I always do my best to maintain a growth mind-set. I feel that my love of learning and easy-going personality have served me well in my chosen carrier. I am passionate about my work and service to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community, and when I am not at work, you’ll find me slaving away at one of my many home renovation projects, spending time with my family, or in my kitchen developing my love of cooking. I also make the most of the beautiful outdoors here in Colorado, I love to hike in the summer, snowshoe in the winter, and camp with the family as often as I can.
