Hello! My name is Michael Arslanian and I live and work in Western Washington. I have been an interpreter for 17 years and I am NIC certified. During that time I’ve had the privilege to work as a freelance interpreter in community and medical settings, VRS, K-12, and post-secondary. I’m an interpreter because a very long time ago my ASL teacher, Eric Fifer, took an interest in me and introduced me to Deaf culture and the local Deaf community. He encouraged me to become an interpreter. I am grateful to him and the many excellent Deaf and hearing interpreters and teachers who have taught and supported me over the years. Thank you!
